Ronseal. Does what it says on the tin, clean, tidy and great location for everything I needed.
Liked: I travelled for one night to attend the RSC, the location was perfect walking distance from the theatre and the train station. Didnt spend too long in the apartment but comfy bed, good clean shower and was able to get a coffee, plus Kate was so handy to get in contact with.
Disliked: Only thing is the bin lid didnt work via foot pedal but not the end of the world.

Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Location was very central. A park directly opposite was a bonus as we travelled with a small dog
Disliked: Curtains on window need urgent attention and also faulty toilet seat. The price charged (£35) for our dog was well overpriced considering no facilities eg a water bowl, or a treat and a little blanket. This price was over and above a charge for any possible damage A little bit more attention to small details required.

Liked: - bequemes Bett - gute Lage - leichter Check-in - Cookies, Tee,… zur Verfügung gestellt
Disliked: - Badezimmer sehr klein - Zimmer direkt auf Straße, jeder konnte beim Fenster reinschauen

Liked: Well presented room, big bed, a few mintutes walk to the shops. Stayed here during a heatwave and the room stayed nice and cool without use of a fan.
Disliked: The floor could have been cleaner. And open shelving above the v. small sink in the bathroom would have worked better than a bulky cabinet. The entrance to the carpark down the side of the building was a bit rough/pot holes but at least you could park on site.

Perfect Spot close to town and shakespeare and Hathaway locations
Liked: The apartment was in a perfect position to walk to all the places ,Anne Hathaway cottage ,town centre , Shakespeare's birth place and the beautiful canal walk . The instructions and apartment were clean and had Tea & coffee ect . No complaints.
Disliked: The only negative thing and this is a personal point,so to others staying it may not be an issue 🙂 We were in room 1 so by the front door where the key box is and our headboard . We would definitely stay again but would have an upstairs room at the back so no road noise. Communication was 💯 .

the Town is very nice and this property is near to the town
Liked: The instructions to find the property, collect the keys and park the car was very well explained. the entrance to the property was welcoming and it felt safe.
Disliked: I was very dissopointed about the size of the room, the sofabed just fitted by turning it vertically at the foot of the bed on doing this the large stain on the carpet underneath became visible,as did the crumbs and stains in the sofabed. the double bed pillow cases had marks on them and the bed had several dark hairs on the bottom sheet, this gave us the impression that the very small room was not clean and after a 6 hour drive all we wanted was a clean comftable room to relax before continuing our journey in the morning. it would have been helpful to have been notified to be equipped with a torch for the unlit parking area.

Great comfortable accommodation in a convenient location.
Liked: Both rooms were spacious and comfortable. The location was excellent to walk to the river, historic places of interest and places to eat.
Disliked: Nothing

Had a lovely stay. Very clear and easy to understand instructions. Excellent location to walk into town. Great dog friendly location opposite park.
- Booking.comFebruary 20266/10
Good, impersonal, near to a busy part of town with amenities.
Liked: Good place. The host (a voice on the phone at best) seemed pleasant. A clean air fryer was available on request, which my partner knew how to use. We had little choice but to trust the host, but ok as the damage deposit (£75) was not charged. Parking was ok and free (through narrow access road - don't bring your American classic !)
Disliked: Don't like the booking and check-in, check-out procedure, with Booking.com. Why is there always a load of information going from us to them (which the system called 'exciting'...) and precious little from 'them' to us? They do not need a Selfie or an ID, the list goes on. We need to meet the host(s), know their name and have an address in case for example the damage deposit had been unreasonably charged and a claim in the county court became necessary. Why can we not pay in cash?

Lovely place within easy walking distance of everything in town. Kate was very friendly and helpful and called before to ensure we had all the instructions for check in. We managed to get a parking space in the car park which was useful too. Thanks for having us!

Liked: Die Freundlichkeit der Host.
Disliked: Das Bad war ziemlich klein. Am Waschbecken konnte man sich nicht wirklich mehr als die Hände waschen.

Liked: Location fridge and sofa.
Disliked: Knew it was "kitchenette". But was just a microwave. Threshold between bathroom and living space was bit sharp for bare feet.
Our reply
Hello Jackie, Thank you for your review. I'm pleased you appreciated our very central location - it really is easy to walk to everything you might need in Stratford. I'm sorry you found the kitchenette lacking - there is a fridge, microwave with grill, toaster and sink. Cutlery, crockery and glassware is provided. We do have a one-bedroom apartment, which has a full kitchen, including hob and oven, as well as a microwave and a toaster, which might have better suited your needs. Kate @ The Adelphi

Perfect . Would come and stay again!
Liked: Great communication from the host company. Very precise instructions to the parking spaces and entry codes. Contact ongoing whilst there. Ground floor room. Super comfy bed. Small but ideal en suite Location superb. Great value for money imo Good range of info in the hallway Loved the city
Disliked: Never had to pay a holding fee of £200 but guess that is an agent thing. Not actually debited to your account though Nothing else to add
Our reply
Hello Vickie, Thank you very much for taking the time to leave a review. I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay with us and found the access information to be clear and concise. I'm also pleased that you found the information in the hallway to be useful - I have tried to provide a selection of different activities/attractions. We introduced the damage deposit pre-authorisation in response to damage caused by previous guests. It is a great shame we felt obliged to do this, but it is becoming increasingly common in accommodation of this type. As you say, the money is not actually removed from your account - is it placed on hold and released within a few days of your departure, as long as there has been no damage. We would love to welcome you back in future. Kate @ The Adelphi

Lovely Stay- Close to everything
Liked: Super close to all the sights, across from a park which was lovely to take a dog for walks, easy to walk to from the train station, and clear directions for self check in. The room was also beautifully designed, and we slept very comfortably. Beyond all of this, Kate was lovely. She had the team set up a banner for my birthday and when we were struggling with a smell in the bathroom (which happens with older homes in the UK) and she replied right away, and came over to help sort during the day. Thank you!
Disliked: No fault of the property but there were a lot of messages. It felt like we were getting them from booking.com and the property, especially ahead of arrival and it caused a little unwanted anxiety + the bathroom smell that caused a little conflict, but we would absolutely return again.

Hello Abha, Thank you so much for leaving a review - it is always good to hear what our guests have to say and it also helps potential future guests. I'm so pleased you enjoyed your stay and appreciated our central location and the little park opposite, which is perfect for walking the dog. I'm so sorry about the smell in the bathroom. I hope I managed to solve the problem in a timely manner. I understand your comment about the number of messages and we are looking to reduce the number guests receive. We would love to welcome you back to Stratford in future. Kate @ The Adelphi

Incredibly comfy, central, well set up and friendly staff
Liked: So clean, so cosy and well organised. Brilliantly central location. Had everything we needed. And an unbelievably comfy bed. It was also quiet despite being on the road. Safe and easy parking at the back of the property and very helpful staff who were easy to contact
Disliked: I was unsure at first because it was on what seemed to be a main road, but actually it was just temporary traffic lights that made it seem busy and it was all quiet by the evening. The basin was a bit small - but honestly it wasn’t a big problem
Our reply
Hello Jo, Thank you for leaving a review. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay with us. I will pass on your comments about cleanliness to our cleaner (she is an absolute star). I'm very pleased you found everything you needed during your stay. I'm also pleased the road didn't disturb you too much - it was the weekend of the Mop Fair, which results in road closures and thus more traffic on "our" road. We would love to welcome you back at any time. Kate @ The Adelphi
