The Adelphi - Studio 3

Thank you Kate for a wonderful space to stay!

Great location for exploring Stratford, great for parking. Lovely and clean, very comfortable bed, good shower and communitive host. However, please note "kitchen" is a microwave & kettle (no hob or oven!) If you read the detail, it might be clear, but we felt it wasn't stipulated clearly enough. We were also charged extra (non refundable (albeit by choice if wanted to pay more for 'refundable'!) extras for damage deposits not clearly stated in the Airbnb listing.) Whilst in many ways a lovely stay, I would say far too expensive a price for essentially a room, with a shower and not really a 'kitchen'. It did what we wanted in some respects (somewhere to catch up and mooch in Stratford), but overall would not recommend for the price advertised at.

这是我第一次在 Airbnb 上预订非传统民宿，而是一家通过 Airbnb 平台运营的酒店。整体入住体验非常棒，我们对这次住宿非常满意。 首先，非常值得称赞的是这里专业而负责的管理团队。从入住前提供的详细指引，到入住过程中的沟通，都能感受到他们管理上的专业和用心。 特别想感谢他们出色的沟通能力和责任心。我们刚到房间时，发现房间里当时只准备了一张床。当时已经是下午五六点左右，我们理解这可能已经超过正常工作时间。但是到了晚上七八点，管理团队依然主动联系我们，不仅通过 Airbnb 平台发送消息，还通过邮件进行了说明，详细告诉我们如何将沙发整理成床，并帮助我们顺利解决了这个问题。 他们及时的回应和认真负责的态度给我们留下了非常好的印象。这样的服务让我们感受到，即使是在入住之后，他们依然非常关注客人的体验，真正希望帮助客人解决问题。 酒店的位置非常好，位于莎士比亚故乡——埃文河畔斯特拉特福（Stratford-upon-Avon）的小镇上，距离莎士比亚故居非常近。小镇本身非常安静、漂亮，有浓厚的历史氛围。我们很喜欢傍晚和清晨在小镇里散步，那时候游客较少，可以慢慢欣赏街道、逛逛小店，也能享受到当地不错的餐饮。 房间也给了我们很大的惊喜。房间里有一张非常大的床，在英国酒店中这样的尺寸并不常见，而且非常舒适。另外还有一张可以展开成沙发床的沙发，虽然尺寸稍小一些，但对于小朋友来说完全没有问题。 房间整体非常干净，维护得很好。虽然房间靠近道路，但有窗户，窗外是一个小院子，整体感觉很舒适。酒店后方有停车场，自驾停车非常方便。不过停车场出口的道路稍微有些窄，开车时需要稍微注意。 房间里还准备了点心、多种英国茶包、热水壶和微波炉（虽然没有完整厨房）。洗澡体验也很好，热水充足，水压很强。 我们这次是自驾旅行，原本计划在科茨沃尔德（Cotswolds）住宿，但没有找到特别合适的地方，于是继续向北行驶，最后选择了这里。事实证明这是一个非常好的决定。这里距离百老汇（Broadway）以及百老汇塔（Broadway Tower）都很方便，非常适合作为游览科茨沃尔德之后的住宿地点。 非常推荐这里给计划自驾旅行、游览 Stratford-upon-Avon 或周边地区的朋友。这是一次非常愉快的入住体验，如果以后再次来到这里，我们一定还会选择入住。

What a beautiful space to take in all that Stratford has to offer. Spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Definitely recommend.

Liked: Convenient location for town centre. Quiet location. Adequate car parking at the time. Well appointed.

Disliked: Not a lot.

It's a great place to stay for multiple reasons. It's centrally located to everything you want to see in Stratford at a great price! The accommodations are very comfortable and the host id very responsive.

Cosy stay

Liked: Comfortable bed, small kitchenette with tea/coffee. Everyrhing you needed for overnight stay. Very helpful and communicative host.

Disliked: Difficulty opening and fitting sofabed together. Once out space around very tight. Checking in process cumbersome, long and an insurance charge for breakages !

Nice studio with great location, but surprise security waiver had to be paid.

Liked: The property was very clean and well maintained. We were in studio 5 which was small but enough for us. We also had family staying in studio 3 who were very happy with the room. The location is fantastic, literally a 5 min walk to the centre of Stratford-upon-Avon so highly recommend for this alone.

Disliked: There was a security waiver that was either £15 non-refundable or £75 refundable after 5 days for each room. I felt like this should’ve been mentioned up front and/or included in the price of the room. We paid the £15 non-refundable as we were concerned from previous experience of other hosts claiming some furniture had been marked when it hadn’t. We’re reliable and sensible guests but didn’t want to risk losing £75 unnecessarily. Studio 5 was lovely and clean but a tight squeeze, so wouldn’t recommend if you have accessibility issues, but studio 3 on the ground floor was a good size and would be fine.

perfect place for a few days in Stratford

Liked: Apartment was perfectly located, had pretty much everything we needed. Very comfortable. Small park across the road which was ideal for the dog to stretch his legs. Very helpful communication from the letting people.

Disliked: nothing we did not like although a few more kitchen and microwavable dishes might have been useful.

4 stars from us, lots to like for a short stay.

Liked: Location was close to town centre, good parking, quiet overnight, generally in good order and presented nicely.

Disliked: ensuite smelt of drains, No dog bowls and paid extra for dog to stay, door between apartments rattled when others came and went.

Kate was a very responsive host. the location was brilliant, very local and in easy walking distance of town centre. the place itself was extremely clean and has off road parking around the back, which Kate kindly let us use before check in. My only criticism of the place was that inside was extremely warm, even with the heating turned down so it was hard to sleep, we had to keep the windows shut due to road noise as it's on a main road. also he walks are very thin so we could hear everyone coming and going and upstairs TV. Again, not the hosts fault at all, but I'd you are noise sensitive it may not be the place for you. other than it was a brilliant choice due to location.

The room was and had everything it needed. Would use again 🙂

Great place within 10 mins walk from all important landmarks and very proactive host!

Listing was as described and very close to the theatre. well decorated & furnished with a proactive history who called ahead of time. clear and plentiful instructions.

Wonderful apartment

Liked: We loved our stay at the Adelphi, the apartment was exceptionally clean and had everything you need if you want to cook. Location is very close to the town centre, set just across to the small park area which was very pretty to walk through. The host was extremely helpful with the instructions to enter the property. Parking is also available which is a bonus, as well as alternatives if spaces are taken. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back again soon as we love Stratford.

Comfortable and a must-see town

Liked: Spacious, clean, tastefully decorated and a very short walk into town. Katie was so helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Even checking up on us before and after check-in to make sure all was okay! Thank you!

Disliked: Nothing not to like, just could hear the guests upstairs in the mornings, but not the property’s fault!

Lovely little studio with everything you could need. Massive, comfortable bed, plenty of hangers, warm and cosy. Little kitchen was perfectly equipped for a short stay. Washing machine facilities were also great. Free parking was a huge selling point. Perfect location. Only a 7 minute walk to the RSC Theatre. It’s really was lovely. Would highly recommend. 😁😁

Spotless and comfortable, a peaceful bolt hole just minutes from Stratford’s central shops, pubs, restaurants not to mention the theatre and many historic treasures . \n\nHighly recommended. Kate and team were very attentive and communicated responsively and politely even when Muggins here didn’t read the clear instructions properly.

Amazing stay in beautiful Stratford

Liked: What a gem of a find, such a lovely studio apartment with everything you could need, extremely clean and comfortable, in an excellent location, just 2 minutes walk across the park to the centre of Stratford. Great communication from Kate before and during our stay. Big bonus was free parking, thinking of making it an annual trip.

Liked: Great walking distance into Stratford Upon Avon, Apt 3 was very quiet and in the back of the house. Good spacious studio, nice simple kitchen set up, comfy bed.

Disliked: The bathroom had a bit of a drainage smell, but it was very clean and decent shower.

Disliked: More compact than I had expected from the photos. Only a microwave in the kitchen, damage waiver before receiving check in details was unexpected.

Disliked: I think it was really poor that 2 days prior to arrival I was sent a link requesting further payment for “accidental damage” I had no option other than to pay the non refundable £20 (as I did not have the funds to pay the refundable £200 option) I had no prior warning of this payment and had no choice as it was past the free cancelation period.

We had a great stay at The Adelphi. Kate was amazing in terms of her communication with us. The check in instructions were clear and so easy to follow. Having onsite parking was a great bonus too! The studio itself was neat and clean and perfect for our small family (2 adults and 1 young child). It was situated in a perfect location, we were able to explore lots of Stratford by foot and it was within walking distance of loads of great restaurants. Would definitely recommend!

If I’m going to Stratford I’ll try to book here again

Liked: Lovely apartment very cosy and clean. I love the dark teal decor. It’s given me ideas! Good location for exploring town and attending the theatre which was my primary reason for my visit

Disliked: Boiler was a little bit noisy but I think it should be expected in a building which has multiple apartments so not really important

A great little place for three people within walking distance to the gorgeous town. The sofa bed is for young kids only due to the size of it so keep that in mind and you'll be sorted.
